Or perhaps, instead of cinematic, you simply need some footage that documents a construction project or the state of your building’s roof?
Do you just need the raw footage or images? Or would you prefer us to post-process your photos and edit your footage into a fully colour-graded and edited movie with titles, graphics, sound and music?
Whatever you need, we’ll work with you to ensure we deliver exactly what you want. Below are some of the popular uses for aerial photography and videography but new uses are coming along all the time.

Inspections at a fraction of the traditional cost
Roof inspections used to be inordinately expensive! You needed scaffolding or a cherry-picker and often extra staff to comply with health & safety regulations.
But, using state of the art drones, our highly-trained pilots can capture high definition images and video of hard to reach areas. Best of all – it’s safer, less expensive & much quicker to arrange!

HOW MUCH DOES AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY COST?
Aerial photography costs can vary greatly, as every job is different, pricing isn’t always straightforward.
To simplify things, below are some predefined aerial photography & videography packages.
If what you have in mind doesn’t fit any of these, please get in touch and we’ll work on a custom quote for your project.
You can even purchase an E-Gift Card and give someone the gift of a rarely-seen view of their home, business, special event, etc.
Whichever way you choose to go, after you contact us we’ll carry out a preliminary feasibility assessment to ensure we’re able to safely and legally undertake the project – this is almost always the case. Then we’ll ask you to fill in a “Brief” form to ensure your photographic objectives are well defined. The more information we have, the closer to your vision the final images and video will be.
After that we’ll send you a quote – taking into account the scope and complexity of the filming, special permissions required, flying time required, location, additional crew, post-processing and how you want to receive your images and/or video. With a custom quote, when you want to proceed we do require a 50% deposit payment to confirm the booking.
Once you’ve given us the go-ahead, we carry out all the planning, risk assessments and arranging of any special permissions. We’ll liaise with you to confirm a date and time and, weather-permitting, carry out the shoot.
Aerial Photos
Great photography is all about light, so we’ll take into account the shots you’ve specifically requested and make optimal use of the sun and weather conditions. And our experienced and creative pilots will assess the best views so you have lots of shots to choose from.
We’ll edit the images to your taste, creating stunning high definition photos. We’ll usually make these downloadable, though you can request them on a USB memory stick at a small extra cost.
We don’t print your photos (there are many companies online that are far better equipped to do this – we can let you know our favourites) but the image files we supply are perfect for large, high quality prints to hang on your wall or even billboard!
If you’re planning to use them online, on your website, Instagram or Facebook, let us know and we’ll supply optimised versions in whichever formats you need. And if social media and web sites aren’t your thing, we’re happy to consult on how to get the maximum benefit from your new content.
You’ll receive your final images online to download and, if you’d prefer, on a USB memory stick for a small extra cost.
AERIAL VIDEO
If a picture paints a 1,000 words, a video paints a story! To make the most of your shoot, we’ll get an idea of the story you want to tell, then make a storyboard & shot list. On the day of the shoot, we’ll also look to gather any views that may have been overlooked or even a serendipitous event!
We’ll generally shoot your video in a “Raw” format for the greatest dynamic range, allowing scope for more creative colour-grading. If you simply want your footage to be ready-to-go, we can shoot in a “Standard” colour profile which, while less editable, will still look good. If you’ve purchased the Premium package or have include it in your custom quote, we’ll collaborate with you on the editing; look & feel; titles; motion graphics, sound & music of your finished video.
Usually video will be supplied in a 16:9 format though, if you’re planning to use your video on Instagram, Facebook, etc. we can supply in different resolutions – depending on the amount of titles, graphics, etc. this may incur a small extra charge.
You’ll receive your final video & images online to download or we can upload directly to your YouTube channel. And if you’d like you can get everything on a USB memory stick, for a small extra cost.
DETAILS
- Photos and video taken will be based on your requirements and the assessment of our experienced and creative pilots
- Flying time refers to actual time in the air. On-site risk assessments, site setup, pre & post flight checks must also be undertaken, so up to an extra 45 minutes will be required on-site
- Travel greater than 20 miles will be charged at .50p per mile
- Discounts available for multi-project engagement
- At the end of the day, we want you to be fully satisfied with both the end-product and the cost so we’ll do our best to get the footage you want within your budget.
